The Origin Story
The "Hey Elgin" podcast began as a running joke—or perhaps a threat—from a Bostonian who moved to Texas and fell in love with a small town. Host Boston Nick repeatedly declared on social media that he was going to start a podcast to celebrate the people and places of Elgin.
Thankfully, he met fellow locals Ben and Tony, who were able to turn the idea into a reality. Together, they've created a platform to shine a light on the incredible local businesses, community culture, and unique charm that make Elgin what it is. It's a show that aims to keep the conversation honest and positive, staying clear of political drama and focusing on the good times.
