That's the introduction you'll hear from Nick, and it's a perfect summary of his role on the podcast. An enthusiastic and passionate transplant, he's the voice of an outsider who sees the unique charm of Elgin through fresh eyes. When he's not talking about the city, you can probably find him listening to classic rock and metal music or playing guitar and bass. He also has a love for the weird and unknown, including conspiracy theories, which makes for some very interesting tangents on the show.
More than just a co-host, Nick is the undisputed captain of the "Hey Elgin" ship. The podcast was his idea, born from his desire to share his love for the community he's chosen to call home. While Ben and Tony bring their local knowledge and business sense, Nick brings the fun, the energy, and the constant inspiration to keep the conversations real and engaging. He's the one who reminds everyone why they started this project in the first place, ensuring the show always stays true to its roots and celebrates the things that truly matter in Elgin.
